Beamsplitters are optical components used to split input light into two separate parts. Beamsplitters are common components in laser or illumination systems. Beamsplitters are also ideal for fluorescence applications, optical interferometry, or life science or semiconductor instrumentation.
By adding a wedge and with partial reflective coating on first reflective surface, Penta Prism can be used as Beamsplitter. From prototype to production, Focus Technoloy manufactures Beamsplitter Penta Prism with standard Transmission/reflection (T/R) ratio of 10/90,50/50.
